Chris Pedersen
Chief Executive Officer
Chris Pedersen is our Chief Executive Officer, leading with a results-driven approach and bilingual expertise in French and English to guide Shouldice Stone towards sustainable growth and success.
Chris brings over 21 years of experience from the tire distribution industry, having held various executive leadership roles at North America’s largest tire & wheel wholesale distributor. His extensive background includes full P&L ownership, sales, supply chain, strategic partnerships and general management, with his most recent role as President for Central and Eastern Canada.
In addition to his hands on operating experience, Chris holds an mMBA from McGill University and has completed advanced business courses at York University. His experience in building great teams, customer experience, continuous improvement and operational excellence positions him as a visionary leader driving our strategic goals.
Danielle DeBoer
Director of Manufacturing
Danielle DeBoer serves as our Director of Manufacturing, overseeing operations, production, and human resources to drive excellence in our manufacturing processes.
Danielle brings a wealth of experience in HR leadership and manufacturing, having spent the past decade building a distinguished career in the Grey-Bruce region. Her background includes significant roles in managing diverse employee groups across various industries, including the nuclear sector and automotive manufacturing. Danielle also served as Executive Manager of Human Resources at the Bruce-Grey Catholic District School Board and contributes to academia as a part-time professor at Conestoga College.
With an undergraduate degree in Business from Western University and a Master’s in Industrial Relations from Queen’s University, Danielle is well-equipped to foster operational excellence and a positive work environment at Shouldice Stone.
John Aschwanden
Director of Finance
John Aschwanden serves as our Director of Finance, overseeing our financial operations to drive strategic growth and operational efficiency.
John is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) with extensive experience in financial leadership and analysis. John’s professional background includes significant achievements in both the financial services and manufacturing sectors. At Symcor, he was responsible for overseeing P&L for major production regions, providing crucial business decision support through cost accounting analysis and production capacity planning. In his role at Risk Strategies/Hugh Wood Canada, John advanced to a senior management position, directing the firm's finance, HR, and administration functions, and supporting growth strategies through financial modeling and business case analysis.
John holds a Bachelor of Commerce (BComm) from the University of Guelph and has completed a diploma in Business Administration with a focus on Marketing from Durham College. His credentials as a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) complement his educational background, enhancing his ability to deliver strategic financial leadership.
Dan Lamoureux
Vice President of Business Development
Dan Lamoureux serves as our Vice President of Business Development, overseeing Sales, Marketing, Customer Service, and Product Teams to drive growth and position the company for future success.
With over 25 years of experience leading sales teams and driving business success, Dan has a proven track record in building high-performing teams and developing strong customer relationships. He has successfully managed national teams, fostered partnerships with thousands of clients, and consistently delivered results in competitive industries.
Dan holds a degree in Environmental Engineering from Université Laval, with additional studies at Université de Sherbrooke. He is a Certified Sales Leader (CSL) and Certified Sales Professional (CSP) and is fluent in both English and French.
Known for his strategic thinking, collaborative leadership, and customer-centric approach, Dan is focused on driving growth and a superior customer experience at Shouldice Stone.
